How You Will Make A Difference: The Capital Account Manager at STERIS is responsible for the overall financial performance and Customer satisfaction in the assigned territory. This is accomplished by meeting yearly sales goals, driving growth in market share from competitors, and assuring that all Customer experiences are positive, noteworthy and exceeding expectations. The Account Manager acts as a primary contact and sales consultant accountable for the Customer experience. He/She is responsible for selling all products in the Infection Prevention Technologies portfolio. The Account Manager is expected to appropriately balance their time selling the Company's established line of products as well as all new product introductions. Using their consultative selling skills and competencies and thorough understanding of the industry and market need, the Account Manager focuses on positioning the Company's products and services to provide solutions for our Customers. This is a remote-based Customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following state/city: Denver, CO. What You Will Do: Develops, communicates, and executes a yearly business plan for capital and associated consumable goods. Submits and executes an accurate forecast (within a /- 10% variance) for Capital and associated consumable products on a monthly and quarterly basis. Develop relationships with customers in GI, SPD, OR, IC, MM, Biomed and the CEOs, COOs and CFOs. Consistently acts in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations while considering the reasonableness of request and fairness to STERIS. Utilize value added services in the selling process to differentiate STERIS from its competitors. This includes: TSSR, In-service video, sizing studies, equipment audits, CEU training and proportioners. Develop relationships with distributors educating on our product line to maximize sales opportunities within distributor accounts. Manage the after sale process, including in-servicing to ensure customers have thorough knowledge of the safe use of the equipment and chemistries. Capable of delineating and communicating the strengths and competitive advantages of STERIS products, services and technologies and how the application of these can assist the customer in meeting their objectives. Uses current available tools to provide a total solution to the customer, to ensure their capital and associated consumable needs are met. Education Degree Bachelor's Degree What You Need to be Successful: Three (3) to Five (5) years successful sales experience, which includes a minimum of two (2) years successful B2B or Medical Device or Medical Consumables sales experience. Demonstrated concept selling skills Understanding of the hospital buying process including the role of National Accounts, GPO, IDN and Distributors preferred BA/BS Degree required (Business or Marketing preferred) Strong communication skills MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements Pay for this opportunity is $65,000 base and $190,000 at 100% to plan, plus uncapped commission. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc. Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company's 401k plan.
