The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.What does this role look like?For this role, you will be joining the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight software for the missile system. You will join a team of Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) and software engineers that design and develop mission critical GNC subsystems for the FBM program. The duties for the position will incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle -- requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.Previous C++ or Python development/test experience.Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS Clearance.Desired Skills:Experience in processor and microprocessor firmware (non-OS based).Experience in processor firmware and software (OS based) - software drivers and firmware wrappers.Understanding of missile or satellite software systems.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent team orientation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers.Security Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.Schedule for this Position:
9x80 every other Friday off.Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.Benefits offered:
