Description

The IAM Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our digital assets and resources by implementing and maintaining robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls. This role will be instrumental in safeguarding our systems and data through the implementation of effective IAM practices. Collaborating closely with various teams, the IAM Engineer will establish and manage user access while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Work Experience

8+ years IAM Engineer experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

N/A

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

Okta Certification Preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Knowledge of IAM solutions and systems for User Life-Cycle Management, Identity and Access Governance, Automated Provisioning, Single Sign-On, Federation, and Privileged Account Management.

Experience with configuring user access certification campaigns and IAM processes such as Identity Lifecycle (Joiner/ Mover/ Leaver) and access requests.

Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.

Familiarity with log analysis using tools such as Splunk and ticketing tools like Zendesk, ServiceNow.

Understanding of SLAs and the importance of meeting them.

Experience with auditing, reporting, and user activity monitoring.

Familiarity with InfoSec concepts, issues, and practices.

Promotion of automation to streamline administrative tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.

Demonstrated understanding of business priorities.

Experience with automation using PowerShell.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred

Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA), and the unique security challenges in the healthcare industry.

Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $45/hr-$55/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
