Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Data Scientist to join our pioneering AI pod. This role is crucial for establishing multiple AI pods and fostering an AI-centric culture within our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in integrating machine learning and generative AI models into various workflows to drive innovation and efficiency, particularly in the healthcare sector, and will own the end-to-end solutions in production.Responsibilities:
Model and Data Strategy Development:
Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning, artificial intelligence and generative AI models to solve complex business problems. Serve as lead data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities, and work closely with the engineering team in the development of data products.Model Value Analysis & Tuning:
Continuously evaluate AI models for working with stakeholders, formalize models.Healthcare Applications:
Use Foundation Models and Large Language Models to solve complex problems in the healthcare space.Sample Data Generation:
Generate sample data using statistical modeling techniques to support AI solutions. Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big-data stores; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.Data Analysis:
Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind.Feedback Integration:
Collect and analyze feedback from AI solutions to continuously improve model performance.Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases.Data Preparation:
Perform data extraction, cleaning, and preprocessing to prepare datasets for modeling.Data Analysis:
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive decision-making.Communication:
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations and presentations.Production Deployment:
Deploy AI solutions to AWS cloud platform, integrate them with existing applications, and manage the solutions in production.Healthcare Innovation:
Innovate to solve and simplify clinical workflows and improve provider satisfaction.Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to bring innovative solutions to the company.Mentorship:
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the establishment of best practices within the AI pod.Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.Experience Required:
Overall, 8 to 10 years of experience in Data Science.Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.Deep down experience with Gen AI model evaluation and execution is a required skill.Experience in fine-tuning large language models and developing specialized solutions using large language models such as OpenAI's GPT, Claude, or Gemini.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.License/Certification Required:
Certificate in AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques with Gen AI context.Skill in:
Proficient in communication skills. Must be able to communicate well with geographically spread Engineering and Product Management teams equally.Ability to:
