Site Merchandising Director

who is passionate about eCommerce, data, driving revenue, and advocating for the consumer. In this role, you will lead the effort to optimize the online shopping experience, drive conversion, and increase average order value through strategic digital merchandising initiatives. You'll play a crucial role in shaping how customers interact with our products online, ensuring that our storefront is as engaging and effective as possible. You are a self-starter, deeply curious, and love to both build and improve processes. This is a highly cross-functional role and necessitates the ability to build influence and collaborate with a variety of teams, including Merchandise Planning, Creative, Brand, Marketing, Analytics, Strategy, and Technology. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and align with cross-functional teams (i.e., Merchandising, Brand, Product, and Finance) on strategy to hit sales growth targets for eCommerce. Digital Optimization: Own and drive the plan to optimize site navigation, search, marketing and category landing pages, PDP, product recommendations, cross sell, and collection sorting & filtering strategy – identifying, monitoring and regularly reporting on KPIs and performance. Own weekly reporting of traffic, funnel and sales KPIs, and work with X functional partners to identify root causes/opportunities and develop strategies and plan of action to address them. Obsess over consumer funnels and the digital consumer journey, partnering closely with analytics, marketing, merchandising, and tech to identify improvement opportunities. Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize revenue and conversion rates for all target consumer personas. Analyze customer behavior and sales data to inform merchandising decisions. Collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing teams to develop and maintain an annual and seasonal content calendar for homepage and category page updates, that aligns with key merchandising strategies and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., Product, Brand Marketing, Tech, Creative, Analytics) to create compelling strategies for showcasing our products and driving site engagement and conversion. Optimize product placement, categorization, and recommendations across the website. Manage seasonal transitions and new product launches on the website. Conduct A/B testing to continually improve the customer experience and drive sales. Collaborate with the tech team to prioritize and implement new features to improve site functionality and optimize funnel conversion. Stay up-to-date with eCommerce trends and best practices in site merchandising. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS 10+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising. Proven track record of driving revenue growth through merchandising strategies. Experience with working cross functionally and influencing marketing, merchandising, as well as product and tech teams. Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, applications, and analytics tools. Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques. Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Looker). Familiarity with SEO principles and their application to site merchandising.
