The Advanced Manufacturing Construction Controls Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects within our advanced manufacturing facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, construction management principles, and control systems to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities
Project Management:
Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects related to advanced manufacturing facilities.Controls Development:
Establish and implement construction controls, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.Performance Monitoring:
Track project performance metrics and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on advanced manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of construction controls and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Candidate must possess Suffolk's Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism, and Caring.Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
