to join the

Network Operations, Sustainment, Support, & Modernization (N-OSSM)

Operating Unit in San Diego, CA. This position will require excellent oral and written communication skills and will represent the organization as a focal point on contract matters.What You’ll Get to Do:The

Principal Contract Administrator

will be considered a key focal point on contract matters within the organization and must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Responsibilities include:Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.Provide advice to management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and maintain historical information.Handle urgent situations from Northrop Grumman leadership and U.S. Government officials.Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract administration.Provide contractual advice in accordance with company policies and procedures.Serve as an external spokesperson for the organization on major matters.Ensure timely and compliant deliverables for all contracts assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management, or a Master’s Degree with 3 years relevant experience.Ability to effectively work with management of other organizations and Government agencies.Demonstrated understanding of FAR and DFARS.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration & management.Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.What We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.Salary Range:
