If you're that candidate, this opportunity is made for you!LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Oracle Back-End Developer for a hybrid onsite contract with our client in the Rosemont, IL area!Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize complex PL/SQL code to support back-end database functionalities and application requirements.Collaborate with application and front-end teams to integrate PL/SQL code seamlessly with front-end components.Design, develop, and enhance applications in Oracle APEX, working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements.Perform code reviews and optimize database performance, addressing any identified bottlenecks.Provide documentation and technical support for database solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to maintain high system performance and availability.Other responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience with PL/SQL development in an Oracle environment.Experience with Oracle APEX or relatable "low code" platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MS PowerApps, ServiceNow, Mendix, etc.) for rapid application development.Experience with IDE platforms for PL/SQL Development such as Toad or Sublime.Strong understanding of relational database concepts and query optimization.Familiarity and basic proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.LRS is an equal opportunity employer.
