As a Principal Product Manager I for the Identity Governance Administration (IGA) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision, development, and execution of our IGA programs. This position is critical in leading our migration and transformation project, ensuring the seamless integration of identity and access management tools, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You will guide cross-functional teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of identity management in an increasingly digital world. The IGA team is part of the IAM Domain reporting into the Cybersecurity function.Your Impact Within Our Firm
You will develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the IGA program, aligned with the company's overall objectives and client demands. You will be required to lead the end-to-end product development process, including defining requirements, prioritizing features, and managing the product roadmap to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, security, compliance, engineering, procurement, support, user research, adoption, legal, and customer success teams to gather feedback, address challenges, and ensure alignment on product priorities. You will conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify market trends, opportunities, and user needs, and translate insights into actionable product requirements. You will drive successful product launches by developing go-to-market strategies and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure product adoption and success.You will also define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives, track performance against goals, and iterate on strategies based on data-driven insights. You will maintain a deep understanding of user needs and pain points, advocate for the voice of the customer within the company, and champion user-centric design and development practices. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the IGA and IAM teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and empowering team members to achieve their full potential.Your Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferredProven experience (9+ years) in product management roles, with a focus on enterprise software, identity management, or security solutionsStrong technical background and understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and identity governanceExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teamsStrategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful product strategies, driving innovation, and delivering business resultsAnalytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to make informed decisions and prioritize product initiativesExperience working in agile development environments and familiarity with product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP; experience with specific IGA tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, etc.); previous experience in a migration or transformation projectPlease review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.Equal Opportunity Employer
