The role will support a team of sellers while also taking initiative in identifying new opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring an extensive network and a proven track record of driving sales success by both empowering others and actively contributing to the pursuit of key opportunities. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that is eager to help build a business while guiding the team to exceed revenue goals. Your deep understanding of the D/Cipher product and Dotdash Meredith's robust data capabilities allows you to hold strategic conversations with both agency stakeholders and direct clients. You excel at identifying key opportunities-whether leading the charge yourself or in partnership with the sales team-and building long-term partnerships.This role is based in New York City, with a hybrid work environment with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.About The Organization and Team:Dotdash Meredith (DDM) is the largest publisher and our D/Cipher intent targeting tool is on the cutting edge of intent-based cookieless targeting solutions. The D/Cipher team within DDM is a fast-paced, growth-oriented team working to build a better internet that's not reliant on IDs to find the right consumers, with the right message, at the right time.About The Positions Contributions:Partner Support and Opportunity Identification:

Collaborate with and support sellers by providing strategic guidance on navigating brands and agencies, helping them close deals and build lasting client relationships with D/Cipher's unique offerings. Actively identify opportunities for the team to pursue, whether leading the efforts yourself or working in partnership with the sales team.Proactive Sales Leadership:

Play a hands-on role in identifying and bringing potential business opportunities to the table, guiding sellers to focus on the most promising prospects. Assist in driving new initiatives and uncovering potential leads, not just following the sales team's direction but helping define it.Expert Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of D/Cipher's data-driven insights, enabling you to assist sellers in crafting compelling, tailored propositions for clients across brands and agencies.Relationship Management:

Build and nurture senior-level relationships within assigned agencies, Holdcos, and brand accounts, helping your team leverage Dotdash Meredith's data capabilities to drive growth.Sales Strategy and Coaching:

Guide sellers in identifying key sales opportunities, conducting impactful client presentations, and overcoming challenges to close deals using the power of D/Cipher's audience intelligence across the open internet.Event Representation:

Attend and represent Dotdash Meredith at industry events, identifying opportunities to elevate the D/Cipher product and helping your team capitalize on event-based sales opportunities.Proactive Outreach:

Assist sellers in cold outreach and prospecting efforts, providing insights on approaching new business and securing meetings with prospective clients interested in leveraging D/Cipher both on Dotdash Meredith inventory and beyond.Collaborative Problem Solving:

Work with technical teams and product specialists to address client needs, ensuring a seamless customer experience with D/Cipher's data-driven solutions.Retention and Growth:

Increase client retention and deepen relationships by offering strategic support and fostering trust, contributing to team revenue goals.Client Feedback:

Encourage feedback from clients to improve D/Cipher's product offerings, ensuring your team stays ahead of industry trends and delivers top-tier solutions.The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:Education:BA or BS preferred and/or equivalent experience in the Digital Media Space.Experience:7+ years of sales or partner management experience, preferably within digital media or data-driven solutions.Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:Experience leading or supporting a sales team in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on client success and achieving revenue targets.Proven ability to help sellers build relationships and close deals with top brands and agencies using data-driven insights, while also proactively identifying new opportunities for growth.Strong expertise in the digital media, data, and programmatic ecosystems.Exceptional communication and coaching skills, with the ability to guide sellers in prospecting and engaging clients via phone, email, and in-person.A strategic thinker with a passion for digital advertising and a deep understanding of first-party data and audience insights.A robust network of contacts across brands and agencies, particularly in the New York market.It is the policy of Dotdash Meredith to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
