We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Public Relations to lead strategic counsel and campaign execution for major beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands, with a focus on effectively reaching and resonating with today’s audiences.OverviewAs PR Director, you’ll be responsible for guiding strategic client relationships, shaping national campaigns, and executing top-tier media efforts to amplify brand presence. In this hybrid role, you will lead teams within client strategy sessions, oversee media pitching, and provide creative direction for culturally relevant campaigns. You’ll act as the “coach” to lead our amazing team and go-to solution suggester for sensitive client issues while maintaining smooth communication across accounts and ensuring proactive resolution of challenges.ResponsibilitiesDrive and support media, agency, and departmental initiatives, providing strategic guidance and overseeing the execution along with deliverables of PR activities.Direct U.S. business and digital PR efforts, ensuring successful press outreach and driving results for key brand initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as public relations, social media, brand marketing, campaign and content, sponsorships, and digital, ensuring alignment with upcoming program focuses.Develop and implement PR strategies to support new launches, existing products, marketing, events, sponsorships, regional brand awareness, and retail priorities.Oversee speaking engagements and other opportunities vetting and management, ensuring alignment with brand values and objectives.Manage client activation budgets, calendar, and timelines with attention to detail and efficiency.Take an active role in crisis communications, employing critical thinking and working with cross-departmental partners to manage sensitive situations effectively.Lead and develop junior staff members, fostering growth through personal and professional development opportunities; having critical conversations when needed.Look for opportunities of growth for the team and work with our Director of Operations to execute them in a way that shows each member of our team how important they are to us.Oversee the creation and distribution of internal reports on company-wide initiatives and press activities.Manage and grow artist and agency relationships through outreach, networking, and credit management for brand artistry initiatives.Requirements:
