Blue Origin is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Sr Director Network Planning to join our rapidly growing organization. As a leader in the aerospace industry, Blue Origin is committed to giving humanity access to the stars and building a future in which millions of people can live and work in space. As part of a hardworking, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional teams to support the pre-acquisition process through target identification and then lead the post-close integration process. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to communicate the vision, strategy and tactical application of cost-effective strategies and key deliverables. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight!

Responsibilities:

Design, engineer, and implement network solutions

Ensure network infrastructure supports business needs

Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions

Maintaining documentation of network configurations and procedures

Work with cross-functional teams to gather, challenge, and establish network requirements

Evaluate networking vendors and product through down select, negotiations, and implementation.

Manage network projects and budgets

Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end users.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business or related discipline

15+ years of Network/Technology planning experience

Experience having lead at least two major implementations in the last ten years

Direct experience executing network transformations from start to finish, utilizing strong financial and project management capabilities

Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, with a focus on driving collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive business results through technology and product innovation in the supply chain industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices related to supply chain management.

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to our inclusive culture.

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree

Experience in organizational design or implementation of organizational design changes

Experience in the space industry or another capital intensive, manufacturing, or R&D oriented industry

Entrepreneurship or early-stage start-up experience

Technical acumen and the ability to converse on technical integration topics.

Applied experiences in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Toyota Production System

Compensation Range for:WA applicants is $206,461.50-$289,046.10
