Architect and implement new features for Apple PayWrite bullet-proof Java code (thread-safe, performant, object-oriented, and inherently testable)Work directly with the business team to collaborate on current and future initiativesWork directly with the iOS client team on feature definition and developmentDesign specifications and protocols to tackle novel problemsMinimum Qualifications
Experience with object-oriented analysis and design with languages like JavaExperience developing scalable and distributed systemsExperience authoring and supporting web servicesExperience with Relational and NoSQL DatabasesBS degree in computer science or equivalent field plus 5-8 years of software development experience or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications
MS degree plus 3-4 years of software development experience or equivalent experienceExperience/understanding of security and cryptographyPay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
