Senior Private Equity Associate

A law firm seeks a Senior Private Equity Associate to join its Miami office. The ideal candidate will possess at least six years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies on a variety of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments, and other corporate matters.Duties:Advise private equity firms and portfolio companies on complex transactions.Manage and oversee mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments.Provide legal insights on various general corporate matters.Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support transaction processes.Draft and review transaction documents and contracts.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes in transactions.Develop persuasive communication materials for presentations and negotiations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in Florida.Minimum of 6 years of experience in private equity transactions.Direct experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or with the SEC is preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.Certifications:Active Bar Admission in Florida.Skills:Strong analytical and writing abilities.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Sound business judgment and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in conceptual thinking and influencing others.Strong management and interpersonal skills.
