Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP) is a private 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in Illinois dedicated to serving its communities with primary preventative medical, dental, and behavioral health services. CHP has been in existence for over 50 years and serves over 10,000 patients from 6 counties across central and northern Illinois.
CHP is currently seeking a Full-Time Director of Information Technology.
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the organization's information systems, software applications, and IT support and infrastructure system. This position directs the strategic design, acquisition, management, and implementation of CHP's corporate-wide technology infrastructure. The Director of IT collaborates with CHP’s HCCN Network to set the long-range direction of CHP’s technology function.
Key responsibilities include:Training and retraining all staff on CHP’s EMR systems, ensuring clinical and administrative workflows are supported.Implementing UDS (Uniform Data Systems) analytics tools and software to drive efficiencies and compliance with Health Resources and Services Administration and other state and local requirements.Managing IT inventory to ensure compliance and periodic reporting of inventory allocation and use throughout the organization.Supervising the facility and the facility supervisor.Establishing technology standards and enforcing technical and security compliance across the organization.Supporting infrastructure systems and managing IT plans, schedules, policies, and programs for data processing, network communications, and management of information systems.Monitoring and analyzing technology trends to improve the company’s IT products and performance.
This position also informs the Executive Team for decision-making.
