A huge company in the financial services industry is looking for someone with tax reporting experience in the financial sector.Pay Range:
$24 - $27.40/hContract Position:
6+ months (possible perm/extension)Education:
Bachelor's degree requiredTop Skills:Tax knowledge related to year-end tax reporting for 1099's and 1042-S formsHighly skilled in customer service, ability to work independentlySoft skills as they will be on the phones with FA/CSA'sEagerness to learn and ability to analyze issues and escalateHigh Level Primary Responsibilities include:Assists Financial Advisors via MSSN/PSN calls and Case Management tickets that are sent to Tax Ops-Assist in reviewing Year End Processing, Mass corrections, IRS Files, Reclasses-Process daily reconciliation and ad hoc break report reviews-Assist in creating and reviewing audit procedure documentationKnowledge in IRS Chapter 3 & 4 NRA and FATCA regulations-Knowledge of withholding and reportingMust be familiar with the various types of client account classifications, tax document requirements and associated withholding and reporting requirements-Proficiency with Excel and relevant computer programs is requiredRequirements:Ability to work independently well within a team environment.Excellent Time Management, Interpersonal, and Problem-Solving Skills.Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively to meet tight and enforced Operational and annual deadlines for the firm.Attention to detail and quality of work.Ability to consistently exercise sound and decisive judgment.Commitment to personal development.Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreePrior experience in the Financial Industry is HIGHLY preferred.Understanding of client service, process controls, with the ability to learn internal systems quicklySuperior Communication Skills, both oral and written.Benefits InfoPride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
