Hackensack University Medical Center has an opportunity for an outstanding academically gifted fellowship trained trauma critical care surgeon to join Hackensack University Medical Center’s ACS designated Adult Trauma Level I and Pediatrics Level II program. This candidate will be a member of our multidisciplinary team. Requirements include the provision of trauma services, emergency surgery and critical care. The candidate will actively strive for excellence in outcomes and patient experience through participation in quality improvement processes. Our trauma surgeons must express a passion for the education of varied learners, advancement of the field of surgical critical care, and promotion of DEI initiatives and research. Academic rank granted as commensurate with experience by the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Hackensack University Medical Center’s Trauma Center provides the highest level of trauma care to critically ill or injured patients and serves as a state-wide resource.
