We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers, which include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies, and consumers across North America.This position is responsible for the growth of the Buford sales branches. The sales teams are comprised of 5 Sales Managers and over 100 territory sales account representatives and specialists in Buford. This leader is accountable for achieving sales goals through identified core business objectives, sales strategies, and collaboration with business partners. This role provides clear direction and leadership to all associates while maintaining a “Best in Class” culture.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides quality leadership and vision for internal business objectives.Facilitates staff meetings, trainings, problem-solving activities, and creative improvement activities while inspiring others.Proven ability to achieve corporate revenue and profitability quotas, setting performance standards to meet service goals and objectives of the company.Manage a full sales cycle function including customer contact, solutions-based selling, needs identification, demonstration, proposal development, and closing.Drives the management team to measure team performance and structure appropriate training and development.Ability to analyze solutions (problem-solving skills).Judgment and decision-making ability.Collaborate with peers and internal business partners.Sets direction and standards relative to performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development. Routinely conduct performance appraisals.Prepares and delivers financial-based sales presentations and KPI trends to ensure success.Prepares and submits proactive unsolicited proposals to drive compliance toward GI while aligning with customer business objectives.Aligns team members' activities to meet customer strategic initiatives balanced against the needs of GI shareholders. Works closely with local sales leadership teams to align resources and sales efforts.Reviews and monitors growth trends across the client base and in individual accounts to maximize account penetration by identifying additional selling opportunities.Develops clear strategies and tactics to convert business for accounts with competing MRO suppliers, specifically identifying and communicating GI differentiators.Coordinates with the Regional Sales Vice President to develop strategic sales plans and execute stated goals.Competencies and Skills:

BA/BS Degree with a minimum of 8 years' related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.Proven success in leading managers with high-performance teams in a metrics-based environment while achieving results through others.Experience with revenue responsibility of $50-100 million annually.Ability to train, coach, motivate, and excite the sales team.Ability to travel.Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.EEO/AA Statement
