Foster Raffles Values: Excellence, Respect, Integrity, CaringLead and guide Security team to provide best service to all team membersOversee the day-to-day management of the Security departmentEnsure overall Guest and Colleague safety through the implementation and review of hotel-wide security measuresSupervise the work of Security staff from an outsourcing companyImplement appropriate training methods to ensure that the entire Security team is familiar with the standards and can apply themResponsible for training all newly hired employees in fire safety and first aidCooperate with other hotel security agencies and law enforcement agencies and investigate all security issuesAct as a liaison within the community and policing forces to maintain awareness of current security issuesComplete daily Security reportsPerform lock audits as required and assist in maintaining key controlManage the departmental budgetBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesQualifications
Previous leadership experience in a similar role requiredCertification in CPR/First Aid requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredBe knowledgeable in the use of all security equipment, i.e. radios, cameras, electronic lock systems and report any safety, security and/or fire hazards or violationsComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications requiredMust possess a professional presentationStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional Information
