Labor And Employment Associate Attorney

Job OverviewA leading law firm in White Plains, NY is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join its team. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support across a range of employment law matters, including compliance, governance, litigation, and arbitration. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and a deep knowledge of employment law.DutiesProvide legal advice and guidance on employment-related issues, including hiring practices, employee relations, terminations, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour matters.Handle compliance matters involving agencies, including audits and inspections.Represent clients in employer arbitration cases before administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights.Manage employment-related litigation from the discovery phase through trial, including drafting motions and legal documents (discovery motions, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions).Conduct legal research to support decision-making and provide recommendations to clients.Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements, policies, and procedures.Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, management, and other legal departments to ensure compliance with labor laws.Stay up-to-date on developments in employment law and advise clients on potential legal impacts.Requirements3-5 years of experience in employment law.State and federal court litigation experience.Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the relevant State Bar Association.CertificationsSkillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong written and verbal communication, including proofreading and outreach programming.Ability to collaborate with internal teams and work in a fast-paced environment.Job LocationWhite Plains, NY401k planMedical, dental, and life insurancePaid time off (PTO)Additional benefits to be discussed upon hiringCompany infoBCG Attorney Search125 Park Avenue, 25th floorNew YorkNew YorkUnited States 10017Phone :
