The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to deal management, document preparation, knowledge management, legal education, marketing, and client development. The Mergers and Acquisitions Resource Attorney will play a vital role in supporting the firm's M&A practice by assisting with deal management, document drafting, knowledge management, legal education, and marketing initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in M&A transactions, excellent drafting and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.Duties:Input deal terms from signed firm deals into the Transaction Database and coordinate with the knowledge management team to audit and maintain the databasePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent template documentsCurate and organize the M&A group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relative to M&A practice and prepare summaries and alertsCoordinate with the legal education team to brainstorm content for associate trainings and other firmwide training effortsWork closely with the M&A marketing team to strategize on M&A promotion and assist with content creation for pitches and teach-insAssist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resourcesContribute to resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projectsRequirements:Licensed attorney7+ years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practiceBasic understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trendsSkills:Strong drafting and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple, ongoing projects and coordinate with attorneys and stakeholdersTransferable skills from associate experience with M&A transactions, both public and privateExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsBenefits offered:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsLife insurance and AD&D coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsFirm-paid life insurance, AD&D, LTD, short term medical benefitsVacation time accrual at the rate of four weeks per year, sick time accrual at the rate of two weeks per year10 paid holidays each yearCompany infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
