to support our team in a Hybrid capacity out of Alexandria, VA.What you will do:Conduct comprehensive accessibility evaluations of existing applications, providing actionable recommendations to improve usability for individuals with disabilities.Create and maintain documentation related to 508 compliance processes, including testing protocols and accessibility reports.Apply coding best practices and frameworks to develop accessible web applications that are compatible with assistive technologies.Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines.Stay informed about the latest trends and regulations pertaining to 508 compliance and accessibility standards.Assist in training and mentoring team members on best practices for accessibility and compliance requirements.What you need to have:Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 10 years of experienceClearance: Secret clearanceAbility to review currently deployed web applications for compliance with 508c standards and make scalable recommendations to our teamImplement the changes and assist the team with implementation for future developmentProven experience in software development, with a focus on web applications.Strong understanding of Section 508 complianceStrong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.What we'd like you to have:Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular.Posted:
