Position Summary:The Human Resources (HR) Manager will oversee all HR functions, and responsibility includes developing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The HR Manager will work closely with the management team and employees to foster a positive workplace culture while supporting the operational goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.Develop strategies to attract skilled labor and meet staffing needs.Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.Collaborate with department managers to forecast labor needs and plan workforce requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.Coordinate the performance appraisal process for all employees.Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on performance issues and employee development plans.Identify areas for skill development and growth, including technical training and leadership development for supervisory roles.Administer employee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in alignment with company policies and industry standards.Review and make recommendations for salary adjustments, bonuses, and benefits packages based on performance, industry trends, and market conditions.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour laws, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety standards.Monitor and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to minimize workplace injuries and ensure employee well-being.Lead employee retention initiatives, including recognition programs, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to improve job satisfaction and reduce turnover.Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.Advise leadership on HR-related matters and recommend policies that support organizational goals and compliance.Maintain accurate records of HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).Perform other HR-related duties as required or assigned by management.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar are preferred.Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, OSHA regulations, and safety compliance.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
