We're looking for a Senior Kafka Admin Specialist to join our ever evolving Cloud Data Platform team to help us unleash the potential of every business. Are you ready to make your mark? About The Team Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team provides WorldPay Big Data capabilities including large scale data processing, analytics, fraud platforms, machine learning engineering, stream processing and data insights. Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team help maintain and advance cloud data platforms and services to build data products powering our business services and customers. What You'll Own Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) for high availability, scalability, and performance Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Terraform, Helm Charts, and Kubernetes Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment Enhance security practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Participate in code reviews, architecture design discussions, and contribute to technical documentation Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices What You Bring Minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Hands-on experience in administering Snowflake in AWS Experience with AWS CLI and Networking Experience with architecting and maintaining high availability production systems Experience with developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts Knowledge of security controls for the public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management) Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS alerting/monitoring tools Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Worldpay Perks - What We'll Bring For You We know it's bigger than just your career.
