The Director of Human Resources formulates and supervises programs relative to selection, training, promotion, welfare, and other employer/employee relationships. Interviews job applicants; develops personnel record forms; adjusts disputes and grievances and recommends necessary disciplinary actions; analyzes, classifies and evaluates jobs. Administers employee welfare and recreation services, and serves as an adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's degree requiredMaster's degree preferred3 Years of HR Leadership in an acute care environment requiredPrevious experience in a union environment strongly preferredMust be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques; training methods; and job analysisFamiliar with the labor market, laws, wage and hour regulations, and ERISA guidelines preferredKnowledge of state and federal wage and hour requiredFamiliar with Joint Commission and HFAP standardsConnect With Us!
