As an Eagle Eye Field Agent, you will ensure the welfare, physical protection, and security of our high-profile clientele by conducting armed and/or unarmed executive protection assignments. We offer close protection and other security-related services to clients domestically and/or internationally. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in fast-paced and dynamic environments, handling threats, and representing Eagle Eye and its clients with utmost professionalism. Excelling in this role necessitates high motivation, adaptability to varying security performance modes, locations, teams, and structures. These are versatile positions that require flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing operational requirements according to client demands.These FLEX and ADHOC (on-call) positions are at various locations around the San Diego area. We are seeking experienced security and executive protection professionals.JOB TYPES (wages and required experiences vary)Executive protectionExecutive protection driverClose protection (talent flow and event escort)Residential security teamCross Border OperationsDUTIES:This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities or working conditions associated with the position.The Agent will be required to perform a full range of security protection skills and services, including but not limited to:Ensure the overall safety and security of designated Principals and their property;Provide close protection to Principals at various venues, events, business meetings, personal trips, etc.;Required to drive Principals to various personal/business venues and/or additional off-site assignments;Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment used in support of the protective operations program (i.e. vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.);Must maintain an acceptable professional appearance;Must be able to communicate with the Principal’s, staff, coworkers, and other third-party vendors utilizing a customer service approach;Capable of adapting to various tasks that would be assigned outside of traditional security operations/roles;Ability to interact with children;Capable of on-the-spot critical thinking and improvisation;STRONG emotional intelligence and self-awareness;Must be comfortable in a variety of social settings, with ability to socially engineer desired outcomes;Must be willing to submit to pre-employment, post-accident and random drug testing as determined by management;Working shifts that can include days/nights/weekends/holidays/OT;Travel when required, both domestic and international;Performing a variety of tasks around the Principal’s property as required;Agents must maintain a positive attitude through a wide variety of situations, as well as, must conduct themselves in a manner which contribute to a positive and professional work environment;Conduct advance work for routes, venues, and travel trips;Agents must have proficient writing skills to complete detailed reports;Coordinate with Principal’s staff and outside personnel, to facilitate seamless operations for our Principals;Maintain physical fitness to stand on your feet for several hours without a break, provide protective coverage during physically taxing activities including running, swimming, hiking, as well as maintain long schedules in the field;Capable of responsibly engaging to an active threat against the Principal;Agent must be proficient in defensive tactics, in order to de-escalate, or actively engage in potential threats against the Principals;Must be willing and able to respond to emergency situations including potential threats, natural disasters, car accidents etc.To meet those tasks, we are looking for the following traits:Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities;Proven problem-solving skills;Superior time management;Sound judgment under pressure and resolute in action;Formal executive protection training at a reputable school;A high degree of firearms proficiency;Exceptional written and oral communication skills;High Emotional IQ;A proactive, high degree of professionalism, responsibility, and maturity;Low-key, reliable, good moral character;Physically fit/maintain a clean and sharp appearance;Ability to operate Google Suite, Office, and basic electronic devices such as cell phones/tablets/computersPREFERRED TRAINING:Vehicle Defensive Driving Course or EVOC;Surveillance/Counter-Surveillance course;Tactical Firearms course;Executive Protection school;EMT/ParamedicPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Military SOF/Combat Arms;Law Enforcement;Executive ProtectionVETERANS PREFERENCE CREDIT:Veterans with honorable discharge, yesPROOF OF LEGAL RESIDENCE:Pursuant to the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, all new hire applicants will be required to show proof of legal residence entitling them to work in the United States prior to becoming an employee of the District.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an Executive Protection Agent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus;May occasionally be required to work outdoors in inclement weather;May be required in some positions to have sufficient dexterity, mobility, and physical ability, and stamina to restrain individuals from following established guidelines and sufficient mobility to respond to clients’ needs;May experience occasional confrontational situations where “Use of Force” and escalation of force may be required.
