Duties include providing technical engineering & customer liaison support services for engine & powertrain test systems integration, development, commissioning & troubleshooting mechanical infrastructure & emission measurement systems. Responsibilities include:Commissioning test cells, high-speed data acquisition systems & driver robots for vehicle testing;Implementing & tuning control loops;Integrating auxiliary equipment into test systems;Creating commissioning documentation;Conducting test bed data acquisition automation software review of test cycles & screens for test systems;Troubleshooting & calibrating industrial drives, dynamometers & measurement & conditioning devices;Writing scripts to automate custom processes;Providing training on system applications.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field & 3 years of experience in job duties. Salary is $167k to $197k. Position located in Lake Forest, CA with 45% travel to clients throughout the U.S. May require the individual to work at various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
