Identify parts prior to inspection of castings, forgings, stampings, subassemblies and final assemblies on various space and aircraft machined parts hardware.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:Identify assemblies with rubber stamps using different inks, elector-etch machine steel stamps, 14K-JET, and vibra-penning.Examines and etches serial number onto various assemblies.Follow all Senior policies and procedure.Other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above, Final Assembly ID are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. Required Skills:Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Other Abilities:

Must be familiar with PC Windows. Also, must be able to work from blueprints, sales orders, and travelers.

Tools used:Hand stamps, marking pens, etching machine, typewriter, and electric eraser.

Materials used:Ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys in the form of sheet tubular stock, machined and formed aerospace parts, also uses emery cloth, clamps, cleaning solvents, lubricants, and abrasive materials.
