GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Sr. Business System Analyst designs, configures and customizes applications and systems for the management and analysis of the company's Sales information using SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. Provides overall system support for SAP ERP Central Component, Industry Solution - Apparel and Footwear Solution (IS-AFS). Provides ancillary system support for applications and external vendors interfaced with SAP SD applications.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPart of the SAP SD application maintenance team delivering enterprise-wide SAP support, executing business solutions, transformation programs and SAP roadmaps.Performing root cause analysis, analyzing technical and functional requirements, and preparing functional specifications.Configuring all SAP SD order to cash flows and related cross functional application components.Supporting associated integration areas of SAP Sales and Distribution like SAP Finance, Logistics execution, Materials Management and SAP CRM.Demonstrating critical thinking and independence in handling SAP related project work and support requests adhering to the project/support guidelines.Communicating directly with business stakeholders and partners in the requirements gathering, solution definition, user acceptance testing and deployment.Liaising with other IT Teams spread across the region and globally to manage enhancements and SAP initiatives.Proactively supporting the identification of process improvement opportunities with the current system setup that creates business value.Planning and execution of unit and integration testing for all changes done in SAP.Supporting off hours and weekends during production change deployment, period close and during critical system outages to assist with system restoration; monthly on call rotation is also required.Some light domestic and international travel may be necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of working experience in implementation and global support of SAP SD application.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience with SAP SD configuration areas including Sales Order processing including 3rd party and Intercompany Sales, billing, interface with 3rd party ordering system (B2B, B2C), available to promise (ATP), SAP Pricing, Condition technique, Idoc and EDI & Output Control.Experience participating in (building scripts, test data etc.) in SIT and in guiding UAT.Business process engineering expertise.Strong knowledge of Integration of SAP SD with:SAP FICO.SAP MM.SAP LE.SAP CRM.Tax Solution (Vertex, Taxware etc.).RICEF Functional Spec design and development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in SAP AFS Industry Solution implementation or FMS or IS-Retail industry solution.Experience in Fashion Industry or Consumer goods.SAP SD Certification.Global SAP experience - Implementation and support in more than one of the following locations: USA, Canada, Asian and Oceania/South Pacific.High level understanding of ABAP programming.Debugging experience.Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts.Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
