The
System Analyst I
is responsible for analysis, design, configuration, and support of theatre systems to improve business efficiency/productivity and support business goals. The System Analyst identifies business needs and works within the theatre technology team to implement those requirements into POS, loyalty, ecommerce, website/app, timekeeping and various applications.The System Analyst must develop a working knowledge of the theatre business areas and a strong understanding of the overall theatre IT architecture in order to understand issues and implications of proposed system and hardware solutions.This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Maintain and troubleshoot theatre POS, loyalty, website/app, ecommerce and timekeeping;Perform system development tasks including business requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation;Integration and report development in MS SQL reporting services and MS SQL integration services;Respond to business support requests ensuring a high level of support for all theatre systems including some advance escalation from the on-call support tech and/or vendors;Coordinate support services and act as a primary contact with vendors as needed. Monitor vendor performance and service issue resolution;Function as a problem-solving and escalation point for business leaders in regards to technology;Provide a continuous focus on improving process and flow of information;Implement and ensure the proper execution/operation of all PCI and SOX required technology and processes;Demonstrate verbal and interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator and company representative;Remain abreast of current information system trends and technologies and recommend technology to the business that will meet business needs;Adhere to all of the personnel and application development policies and procedures of the Division as well as the parent company;Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Director of Information Technology.*The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.Job Requirements:
Requires two to four (2-4) years systems development or application management related experience;Requires a working knowledge of the MS SQL tool set and development skills;One plus (1+) years of prior experience with project management;Strong analytical and organization skills.Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, and/or walk occasionally. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
