Starkey is looking for a Software Engineer to join our desktop fitting software team. You will join our talented team and help make an impact with a cutting-edge medical device company that is making a difference in people's lives around the world. We are looking for a passionate and innovative software engineer to focus on building new audiology and fitting advancements into our software. A major aspect of this role will be collaborating cross-functionally with audiologists, audio systems engineers, and product managers to translate patient hearing needs into software solutions.

You Will Be Doing

Working within a product development team to create commercial fitting software for modern hearing aid productsDeveloping a hearing aid fitting SDK used by internal and external development teams to program Starkey hearing aidsSpecializing in the part of Starkey's stack that is concerned with accurately modeling the acoustic characteristics of hearing aids for fitting purposesPartnering with experienced, talented engineers to implement new features

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering

Experience

5+ years of professional software engineering experienceProficiency in object-oriented principles and designInnovative mindsetAbility to thrive in a team environment
