The Global Markets & Technologies (GM&T) World Business Unit delivers technological solutions (molecules, equipment and services) to support the new markets of energy transition, maritime logistics and scientific exploration, in order to accelerate Air Liquide sustainable growth. To support the energy transition, GM&T brings environmentally friendly solutions to the clean energy market with hydrogen energy and Bio-Natural Gas for vehicles, refrigerated transport using nitrogen, but also the treatment and injection of Biogas into the energy grid as a local power source.The Industrial Data Specialist will report to GM&T Americas Manufacturing Site Director with functional and scope directions taken from D&IT Transformation Director. The responsibility will be to support the implementation of process improvement initiatives through data-based Automation/SCADA/Historian systems. The Industrial Data Specialist is a multi-skilled automation engineer with technical vision and drive, liaison with manufacturing management, operations and engineering stories needs, accepting stories into delivery increments and completing tasks to deliver the work. The candidate serves as the Automation/Historian data processing champion for the GM&T Americas Manufacturing organization, as well as subject matter expert for HMI and SCADA configurations management.Responsibilities
Support data management (acquisition, integration, transformation) based on Automation and PLC's systems, for all purposes: Process Compliance, Production Performance, Engineering improvements, etc.Work with Process Engineers and Production teams to bring in well production data, and any field automation into Manufacturing Rockwell SCADA and Historian systems for alarm historization/trending, and display.In coordination with Process Controls teams, manage and execute data system upgrades, configuration of new tags, and building process data visualization screens; lead and execute efforts to upgrade HMI operator interfaces as required to support Process Controls, Automation, MES, and SPC initiatives.Support shop floor Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation.Requirements
Bachelor's Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited institution.3 - 4 years experience in Rockwell Automation Software configuration, involving PLC/HMI, SCADA, Data Collection.Must be highly proficient in data extraction from FactoryTalk View SE.Knowledge of SCADA and Automation controls. Background in working with PLCs and related HMI hardware and their related software (Allen-Bradley).Excellent English communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.Critical thinking and problem solving skills, demonstrate decisiveness and action.Self-starter and ability to evolve easily, foster collaboration and consistency across multiple teams.US Citizen or Green Card Holder - The candidate must have valid unrestricted employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred
Rockwell Plant PAX experience.Background in Ignition.Knowledge of SQL, VB Script, and/or PowerShell.Programming FactoryTalk Batch.Salary Information
Salary range for this position in Newport, DE - $100k - $110k with an additional annual target incentive of 9% based on performance.Benefits offerings
