Responsible for daily operations of one or more commercial [aggregate production/crushing and asphalt production] plants, including oversight of safety, supervision of employees, and ensuring production targets are met.Main Responsibilities:

Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams.Support, promote, and practice the Company’s core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies.Ensure safety, quality and efficiency standards are met while directing operations of assigned sites, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Effectively manage the work environment to ensure safety, environmental, regulatory and production targets are met.Ensure continual compliance with MSHA, OSHA and EPA regulations at assigned sites, as applicable.Manage the activities of production crews to meet established business and production objectives.Maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, local/state officials, and other team members.Assist with hiring, training, and developing employees to perform at their highest level.Assist with development of budgets and forecasts; handle production schedules to meet plans for assigned site(s).Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational practices and recommend improvements to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and production efficiency.Use established Key Performance Indicators to manage production results assigned site(s).Ensure established maintenance schedules and practices are adhered to in order to reduce down-time.Diagnose mechanical equipment issues that arise & restore equipment to a safe workable condition.Work with the sales team and quality control to meet production demands.Safely operate company vehicles, tooling, and equipment.Actively support and lead Company initiatives.Education:

MSHA certification or ability to obtain certification required.Valid drivers’ license and ability to maintain a clean motor vehicle record required.Skills:

Consistent track record of maintaining a safe work culture.3-5 years of practical experience with plant production processes.1-2 years of experience leading and managing employees.Self-directed, driven by results, and highly motivated requiring minimal direct guidance.Basic computer skills using MS Office and similar programs.Physical Requirements:

Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), as required by company safety guidelines.Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Regularly required to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information.Regularly required to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, assess.Regularly required to stand/work on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain.Frequent work in close proximity to heavy equipment and machinery, exposure to loud noise.Frequent exposure to typical production plant/aggregate site conditions, including dust and loud noise, and all types of weather conditions.Travel, including overnight stays away from home may be required.Regularly required to use hands to feel, handle and manipulate objects, write, use a keyboard and/or mobile device.Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear), and perform tasks requiring visual acuity.Benefits and Perks:
