Arcfield is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for developing IA solutions and securing high-assurance computer systems, both hardware and software. This contingent role, anticipated to begin in late spring, will involve on-site customer support in the National Capital Region, at Arcfield and/or Government facilities. Remote work will be allowed when approved. The chosen candidate will create Cyber Security specifications and implement solutions within sponsor-developed systems and architectures. This position includes system and subsystem development as well as direct implementation of the DOD's RMF requirements.Responsibilities
Responsibilities include developing IA solutions and securing high-assurance computer systems, creating Cyber Security specifications, and implementing solutions within sponsor-developed systems and architectures.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years or Master's with 6-8 or PhD with 3-5 and a background in computer science, computer engineering, system engineering, electrical engineering or related discipline.5+ years of related experience in Cyber Security.Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Experience in the administration and development of high assurance network systems.Experience with assessing and/or applying cryptographic network protocols.Experience with two or more of the following development languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Linux Scripting, PowerShell, Ruby, PHP, CSS, VBS, SQL or Assembly.Experience in creating and maintaining Cyber Security documentation such as CONOPS and systems operating procedures.Experience conducting technology and cybersecurity risk assessments and creating and tracking risk profiles (POAMs).Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).Experience with USN, DON, and DoD cybersecurity policies.Experience leading the RMF process for assigned programs, organizations, systems, or enclaves.Desired Qualifications:Certified Information System Security Professional certification (CISSP).Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) certification.Experience in the analysis of unknown binary program behavior using static and dynamic techniques.Experience in understanding government high-assurance computer systems and network environments.Experience in research and development of secure high-assurance systems.Experience and good understanding of DOD STIGs.Experience in managing system security notifications, such as IAVAs, IAVBs, IAVMs, etc. and developing a course of action for system remediation.Equal Pay Act
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
