The Manager, Data Governance leads the Bank in data governance best practices, data governance implementation and maintenance, to ensure data is accessible, trustworthy, well-understood and well-governed. This position will promote consistency and efficiency in reporting, ensure confidential information is protected, and enhance the value of data as a strategic asset to the district. As a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world!Job Functions*

Data Governance

Develops and implements a comprehensive data governance frameworkPrepares policies for approval by the Data Review Board, in compliance with applicable regulatory standardsParticipates in the Data Review Board and District Data CouncilOversees communication and training program for data governance frameworkOversees Business Intelligence function, ensuring reporting is accessible and optimized throughout the BankCollaborates in determining data quality standards to ensure the reliability and validity of AgriBank’s dataImplements data security measures, including user access control, encryption and auditing are defined to protect sensitive dataProvides updates to data governance stakeholdersEnsures the identification, classification and documentation of critical data elements aligns with the Data Governance strategyEducates stakeholders on data governance processesWorks with Technology & Security Officer to develop and enhance data security frameworkEnsures data governance tool(s) are maintained, controlled and actively used by AgriBank employeesProvides ongoing leadership to System data governance effortsBuilds relationship with other System Technology providers to share best practices and influence consistent response to data integrity and consistency issuesStaff Management

Selects, develops, motivates, and evaluates senior data analyst and data intern (as needed)Leads and effectively collaborates in a highly matrixed environment, including internal and external resourcesDetermines division of responsibilities and provides work guidance and directionImplements performance standardsEducation and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field10 years of related experienceOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the jobCDMP certification preferredKnowledge

Advanced knowledge of relational data structures, theories, principles and practicesAdvanced knowledge of enterprise data management processes, procedures and data supportAdvanced knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools and data mapping toolsAdvanced knowledge of database designKnowledge of Farm Credit systems and/or bankingKnowledge of Data Management Body of KnowledgeSkills

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of structured query language (SQL) and relational databasesPhysical Requirements
