About the opportunity:We are looking for a passionate Release/Build Engineer who will play a key role in optimizing and streamlining our software build and release processes for our IAM platform. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining efficient build systems using Bazel, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a high-impact startup while working on cutting-edge technologies in the field of identity and access management.You will:Prepare, evaluate, and maintain tools that support and automate processes for IAM platform releases.Design and maintain tools and scripts to automate the creation of various product versions.Design and maintain tool for local development, with the focus on engineering effectivenessIntegrate continuous integration (CI) processes with the bug tracking system for streamlined issue resolution.Develop tooling that simplifies the resolution of CI issues, enhancing developer productivity.Maintain and optimize the CI build and test pipeline to ensure reliable software delivery.Create and implement tooling to improve code quality and test efficiency, including code coverage collection and test timing analysis.Collaborate closely with the SRE team to maintain and enhance the software delivery pipeline.Implement and manage continuous integration capabilities to facilitate automated testing and deployment.Proactively respond to automated test and build issues to ensure prompt resolution.Develop dashboards and metrics to quantify the efficiency of internal processes and identify areas for improvement.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in identity and access management, and leverage them to drive innovation and improve our platform.You have:Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:
Proven 5+ years of experience as a Release Engineer or in a related role. 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration (CI) practices and tools. 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms and cloud automation tools, particularly in AWS. Strong familiarity with distributed version control systems, particularly Git. Understanding of software configuration management best practices and release management principles. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tool development.Others:
Experience with Bazel is a plus. Experience with Golang is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Our Culture:
