Create unique solutions for complex problemsServe as technical lead and/or subject matter expert on a Cyber/EW convergence programExecute in a fast-paced, small team environment performing communication signal analysis, modeling and simulation, MODEM implementations, testing, and post-delivery supportConduct RF analysis and test events to capture and analyze proprietary waveformsDesign, develop, debug, and test signal processing algorithms implemented on Software Defined Radio (SDR) platformsUnderstand and model the theoretical operation of signal processing systems and balance tradeoffs of multiple characteristics to reach an optimal designDesigning, developing, and debugging new CNO software capabilitiesWork with vulnerability researchers and computer network operations (CNO) developersWHAT YOU HAVE DONE
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineMinimum of four (4) years professional experience in digital signal processing (DSP), and wireless communication theoryExperience managing projects, consolidating technical reports, deriving requirements, and prioritizing and delegating technical tasksHands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods including use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and discrete RF modules.Experience and/or working knowledge of common modulation methods, including BPSK, QPSK, QAM, and spread spectrumExperience with channel coding algorithms, including convolutional coding, Turbo codes, and BCH block codesRF COTS equipment integrationExperience performing baseband modeling, simulation, design verification testing, and characterization and integration of RF assembliesExperience using MATLAB, Octave, and/or Python to simulate radar and communication signal processingExperience with signal processing development using C/C++Experience programming in C/C++Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environmentLead and/or performed system design/analysis, SWaP analysis, and procurementDemonstrated experience with the implementation of RF power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, filters, signal synthesis, and Software Defined Radios in complex Radar, EW, and communications systems over a range of frequencies from HF to microwave (L-band, S-band, C-band, X-band, Ku-band, Ka-band)Experience with RF link budgets and cascade analysis of gain, noise figure, noise power, intercept point, output power, etc.Knowledge of the performance characteristics and limitations of amplifiers, oscillators, mixers, filters, etc.Experience interfacing with customers, providing presentations, leading/performing trade studies and design reviews, and leading RF-oriented test activitiesExcellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with customersEVEN BETTER
