Youth First, Inc.

is seeking a dynamic and visionary

President & CEO

to lead our organization in fulfilling our mission of empowering youth and fostering a supportive community. The President & CEO will collaborate closely with our Board of Directors to set strategic direction and ensure effective operations, while building and leading a high-performing, mission-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Innovation:

Oversee the ethical operation of Youth First in alignment with our mission and values.

Act as the primary ambassador for Youth First’s brand, culture, and impact.

Guide strategic innovation and growth, collaborating with the Executive Team and Board on strategic plans.

Board Collaboration & Development:

Develop strong relationships with the Board to facilitate purposeful meetings and open communication.

Partner with the Board to recruit a diverse group of engaged members.

Serve as the primary staff liaison for the Board and its committees.

Fundraising & Marketing:

Ensure effective fundraising and marketing plans are in place, supporting long-term growth.

Cultivate and steward relationships with key donors and partners.

Communicate impactful stories that illustrate Youth First’s mission.

School & Government Partnerships:

Build and maintain relationships with school leaders and policymakers to strengthen support for Youth First.

Engage in community collaborations that advance our mission.

Programs & Services:

Oversee the development and execution of program plans that align with our mission.

Stay informed about evidence-based practices in youth development and mental health.

Finance, HR, & Administration:

Ensure financial health and compliance through effective budgeting and resource management.

Lead staff recruitment and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Organizational Culture & Improvement:

Exemplify and promote our core values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Empowerment.

Support diversity, equity, and ethical leadership within the organization.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred in a related field (non-profit management, public administration, etc.).

Passion for Youth First’s mission and core values.

Proven leadership experience in nonprofit management or related fields.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and ethical practices.
