EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director has responsibility for managing the overall operations of the designated business unit(s) and for the implementation and execution of the business strategy through the operations and expansion of the program which includes P&L responsibility. This individual will develop a deep understanding of the Diamond Recovery Group program model to include its overall mission and values and will be responsible for carrying those elements forward through all touch points of the business. The Executive Director is responsible for the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure proper operational controls of all facilities, programs, and entities assigned. This position manages administrative and reporting procedures and implements systems to grow all areas assigned to the position.
The Executive Director serves as a key position that will be responsible for managing and coordinating operational workflows, driving operational improvements, planning and executing on strategic projects, and ensuring the successful execution of processes of all designated business unit(s) assigned to enable the organization to operate efficiently and scale effectively.
SENIOR LEADERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Plan, organize, direct, and implement all administrative and program operations.
Responsible for P&L and ensures that financial controls are in place, acts as a good steward of financial resources available to program.
Responsible for ensuring that all elements of the program comply with all National Accreditation standards and all state and federal regulatory requirements.
Develops an effective leadership team through ongoing constructive feedback and training.
Recruits the best people available from inside or outside; assembles talented staff and builds effective teams.
Sets the tone for accountability and drives self and others for results.
Ensures that all staff receive the designated training assigned by Diamond Recovery Group facilities and provides additional training as needed to ensure a safe and healing environment for clients and their families.
Builds a positive and productive culture by listening to employee opinions, responding timely, and adjusting where appropriate.
Communicates vision and takes steps to ensure it is implemented throughout the program.
Serves as the designated business unit(s) principal leader, representative and spokesperson to the local community.
Develops and/or implements existing administrative, personnel, and program policies.
Ability to use planning, research, foresight and facility goals and needs to analyze and make decisions without delay while involving appropriate parties.
Responsible for operational metrics including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), staffing, growth and financial targets.
Lead a team of managers and supervisors, ensuring they provide focus and direction to their respective teams.
Foster the development of leaders and create a culture of accountability.
Develop goals, strategic plans, and company policies and decide on the organization's direction.
Effectively communicate senior leadership decisions and organizational strategy and plans to staff.
Ensure clinical teams have the required clinical expertise in specific areas.
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to the team regularly and predictably and address positive recognition, promotion, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Ensure leaders provide staff on their team with appropriate supervision and oversight.
Attend and contribute to leadership meetings and assist with accomplishing agency objectives and goals set by the Board of Directors.
Develop and manage the site’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A master's degree in behavioral health, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Being licensed in the behavioral health field is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in substance abuse facility leadership.
Strong understanding of braided funding sources (third-party insurance, grants, MSO contracts).
Demonstrated ability to manage, enhance, and expand various funding opportunities.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by the priority populations we serve.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to positively impacting the community.

Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Willingness to travel:
REQUIRED – up to 50%
