Healthcare Project Architect

to join our team! You will be responsible for developing and leading a team through the more technical aspects of a project. Since Beck is one of the most advanced users of 3D modeling tools in the design process, you should be comfortable using Revit and Bluebeam.The job involves the following

essential functions:Perform ongoing document quality control reviewsPerforms building systems selection, evaluation, and detailingWork closely with Project Manager to follow both client project budgets and internal budgetsWork closely with Project Manager to establish project plan, milestone schedule, and staffingCollaborate with Project Manager and Construction Team to understand cost estimates, construction sequencing, and constructabilityAssist with leading internal continuing education sessions and lessons learned initiativesResearch specific building systemsWork closely with the Project Designer to execute the vision and spirit of the designLead project team through documentation, modeling, quality control, and consultant coordinationProficiency with development of building skin details and/or interior building systems coordinationApply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codesUnderstand and assist in the development of project manualsResolve technical issues on projectLead and/or delegate construction administrationEnjoy working in a collaborative team environmentMentoring and training of younger staffWho we think will be a great fitA reliable

will have the ability to lead all aspects of a project from a technical perspective. An individual that exhibits passion to get things done and possesses uncompromising authenticity and integrity. If you are an individual with an interest in the Integrated project delivery method with a desire to be innovative and creative, you will be an ideal fit for this position.You also meet the following requirements:7+ years of relevant healthcare architecture experienceCollege graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degreeProfessional registrationPhysical Demands:Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment, ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings, constantly communicates with project team and related parties, ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production and ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
