Position Overview
Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Tracking Strategic Subject Matter Expert to support SDA's mission. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and advisory services related to space-based mission capabilities.
Review engineering documents and provide SME support; participate in System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR) type activities.
Manage requirements, budget, and acquisition processes for strategic layer.
Develop and maintain future capability roadmaps through coordination within an organization and with external partners.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders, including members of the DoD, Congress, industry, and Allies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline.
10 years directly related experience.
TS/SCI Required.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience working across a diverse range of organizations to achieve strategic goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree - Master of Science or higher preferred.
