POSITION AVAILABLE Data Scientist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Lead strategy discussions and help to design and develop a solution that meets the client’s goals and outcomes. Define key business problems to be solved and formulate mathematical approaches, gather data to solve those problems, develop, analyze/draw conclusions, test solutions, and present to the client. Perform data analysis and cleaning to optimize machine learning models. Implement new, highly scalable platform components and tools leveraging machine learning and deep learning models to solve real-world problems in areas such as speech recognition, natural language processing, and time-series predictions. Build efficient data pipelines to facilitate online training and evaluation of models in a production environment. Deploy packaged solutions using tools/frameworks. Conduct real-world statistical A/B testing scenarios and fine-tune models based on feedback. Build machine learning solutions for clients. Utilize: Python, Java – Spring Boot, SQL, Django, JavaScript – Angular.

Required:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Data Scientist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Python, Java – Spring Boot, SQL, Django, JavaScript – Angular.Salary: $183,036.96 to $255,400.00 per year. Full time. D140.
