These solutions are built on top of a phenomenal data platform and leverage multiple frameworks. This position is an extraordinary opportunity for a competent, expert, and results-oriented Framework Software Engineer to define and build some of the best-in-class data platforms and products.DescriptionAs a Framework Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building various tools and features for Data and ML platforms, including data processing, insights portal, data observability, data lineage, model hub, and data visualization. You will either work on building custom solutions ground up or take open source products and customize the same for Apple’s needs. We're looking for an individual who loves to take challenges, tackles problems with imaginative solutions, works well in collaborative teams, and can produce high-quality software under tight deadlines and constraints. This role involves building innovative tools and frameworks that can extend the functionality of 3rd party BI tools using APIs.Key Qualifications3+ years of hands-on experience with Java and/or PythonExperience designing and developing scalable microservices and REST APIsExperience with SQL and NoSQL data storesExperience of building and deploying cloud-native applications/productsWorking experience with Big data technologies and data platformsPrior experience in the areas of AI/ML/Data Sciences will be a strong plusExperience with Business intelligence (BI) platforms like Tableau, Thought-Spot, and Business Objects is a plusGood communication and personal skills, ability to interact and work well with members of other functional groups in a project team and a strong sense of project ownershipEducation & ExperienceBS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
