The Data Quality Senior Lead Analyst is accountable for the management and execution of continuous Data Quality standards, controls, metrics, and Data Concern Remediation Management. This role oversees firm-wide controls, setting parameters and guidelines for measurement, evaluation, adoption, and communications of Data Quality and Data Quality risk. This role will work alongside data-producing teams to monitor and certify authoritative data sources and remediate data concerns.Responsibilities:Manage data related to classification and accountability, conducting root cause analysis, prioritizing issues, developing remediation plans, and implementing effective tactical and strategic solutions.Manage senior relationships with Data stakeholders to develop, execute, and implement Data Quality management policies, procedures, and capabilities including continuous improvement, monitoring, control, and governance of Data Quality.Drive data quality resolution and lead data improvement initiatives.Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions.Strong knowledge of data governance/management, data operating model practices preferably within large financial services firms.Strong Program/Project Management preferably data program/projects.Oversee metrics reporting process and/or completion of data consumption demand from strategic data repositories.Report Data Quality issues through Citis corresponding Data/Issue management process.Lead project management activities and create presentation materials to support senior management strategic vision.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred.Experience defining and implementing data quality programs.Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels.Optimizes work processes by balancing effective/efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the big picture while paying close attention to detail.Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.Education:Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.The Data Management & Strategy Senior Lead Analyst is responsible for leading activities to support the implementation of the Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework and plays a critical role in leading activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy. This role requires strong program/project management skills as well as excellent communication skills needed to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, in particular, colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
