Founded by Rich Bello, the co-founder and COO of Blue Ridge Capital, Rich’s aim is to leverage his experience working with top Hedge Fund Executives to achieve peak performance.Arootah services include:Providing expert advisors in key operational areas to emerging/established Investment firmsCoaching direct-to-consumer (executive, life, health, and career coaching)Advising clients with Capital Introduction and Raising for Emerging ManagersInvesting in a portfolio of public and private companies that make a positive impactBuilding SaaS applications for both enterprise and consumer useProviding Talent Acquisition and Development services to the financial industryWhat we need:As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will be responsible for leading and managing both the sales and marketing functions of Arootah. You will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, and will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and achieving our business objectives.What You'll Do:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targetsLead and motivate the sales team, setting clear sales goals and performance expectationsMonitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvementCultivate and maintain key client relationships and partnershipsCreate and implement a results-driven marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness and generate leadsOversee the marketing team, including digital marketing, content creation, and marketing campaignsCollaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing materials and content that resonate with our target audienceLead the efforts to plan, coordinate, and execute events to strengthen sales enablement for both Coaching and Advisory verticalsTrain and coach team members to boost sales during events and plan for objections and closeWork with partners on sponsorships, content, and engagement strategies for clients in the financial services industryIdentify and explore new revenue opportunities, including product or service diversificationAnalyze market trends and customer feedback to refine the business strategy and adapt to changing market conditionsDrive cross-functional collaboration between sales and marketing teams to optimize the customer acquisition and retention processesUtilize data analytics and reporting tools within HubSpot CRM to track and measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiativesDevelop and present regular reports to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for improvementManage the sales and marketing budgets efficiently to ensure optimal resource allocationMake informed decisions regarding investment in marketing channels and sales resourcesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plusProven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a CRO or in a similar capacity within the FinTech or SaaS industriesStrong understanding of the hedge fund industry and financial marketsExpertise in HubSpot CRM or a similar CRM systemStrong closer with the ability to source and close deals within the financial services industryDemonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales and marketing teamsExceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in data analysis and using analytics toolsCompensation:
$200,000 - $250,000 a yearWork for a well-funded disruptor in the finance, leadership, and technology space. Culture of inspired continuous improvement in all areas of business and life. Autonomy in your work. The ability to work remote (though we expect this person to be based in the NYC Metro area). The estimated base salary for this role is $200,000 – $250,000 with additional incentives including bonus and equity.
