As Corporate Counsel at OM1, you’ll be an essential member of our legal team, providing strategic legal support across key business functions. Your primary focus will be on drafting and negotiating agreements with life science customers, partners, and vendors, and supporting business development through scalable contract templates. Additionally, you'll collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance and deliver training on contract management. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex legal matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What You'll Do at OM1
Draft and negotiate agreements with life science customers, partners, and research sitesSupport business development efforts including developing scalable contract templatesReview third party vendor agreements related to customer contracts (e.g., tech-enabled services and CRO contracts)Develop and deliver relevant training programs to management and the commercial teamLeverage external counsel for complex agreements, as neededProvide general legal, corporate, and commercial support for the company’s activitiesLegal review of new vendor agreementsWhat Experience You'll Bring
Juris Doctor degree and a member of a State BarA minimum of 3-5 years of related legal life sciences experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment working with life sciences companies, CROs, and clinical research sitesStrong knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in a high volume and ever-changing fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and proceduresDemonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive informationDemonstrated experience with contract negotiationsDemonstrated experience using a contracts management systemProficient with Microsoft Office and GSuite softwarePhysical Requirements
