We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to join our senior management team to lead initiatives across development, acquisitions, and capital raising.
Position Overview:As Managing Director, you will work directly with the company principals and collaborate with the senior leadership team. You will be responsible for driving real estate development, managing acquisitions, and leading capital-raising efforts. This role requires expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, and relationship management, with a focus on achieving the company’s long-term investment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for real estate development, acquisitions, and capital raising, ensuring alignment with HH Fund's investment objectives and portfolio growth plans.
Development & Acquisitions:
Oversee full project life cycles, from initial concept to completion, including feasibility studies, due diligence, and construction oversight.
Lead acquisitions, working closely with brokers, lenders, and internal teams to assess opportunities, negotiate deals, and ensure smooth transitions from purchase to portfolio integration.
Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams on contracts, due diligence, and entity formation.
Capital Raising:
Develop and manage relationships with investors and capital partners, ensuring clear communication on fund performance, strategy, and market positioning.
Lead efforts to raise capital for new and existing funds, leveraging relationships with Limited Partners and investment consultants.
Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement:
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
Cultivate relationships with government agencies, community groups, and key stakeholders to secure approvals and promote HH Fund’s initiatives.
Community Engagement & Sustainability:
Ensure projects align with HH Fund’s commitment to sustainability and community development, integrating these principles into project design and execution.
Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Financial Acumen:
Expertise in real estate financial modeling, capital markets, and investment strategy.
Project Management:
Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously at various stages, from development to acquisitions.
Negotiation & Communication:
Strong negotiation skills with an ability to influence stakeholders and present complex information clearly.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments while fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Real Estate) preferred.
10+ years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, and/or capital raising.
Strong financial analysis and real estate modeling skills.
