Our providers are nationally recognized for excellent patient satisfaction, quality health care, and improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.Advanced Cardiac Care of St. Louis is a physician practice located on the campus of Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Town and Country, Missouri.Role PurposeThe Practice Administrator leads the business and clinical operations at one or more ambulatory clinics. This role provides comprehensive on-site leadership for clinical and non-clinical operations. Responsibilities include direct supervision of approximately 15-25 providers, management of clinical and non-clinical leaders and staff, managing patient experience, managing financial and administrative activities and developing plans to support operational and team success. Practice Administrators collaborate with hospital departments to ensure operational goals of the practice and partner hospitals are met.ResponsibilitiesManages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.Interacts and collaborates regularly with providers to give direction and oversight of effective schedules, efficient clinic workflow and patient flow. Establishes and maintains a cooperative relationship of trust and engagement with providers. Collaborates with Physician Leaders as needed.Develops and implements business plans in alignment with larger short/long-term organizational goals. Uses BJC high reliability operating systems to monitor overall department performance toward goals, makes adjustments based on trends, and leads performance improvement efforts.Leads and participates in daily huddles and rounding for facilitation of patient flow to ensure patient, employee and provider satisfaction. Develops and implements department standard work and procedures. Available for immediate and timely response to barriers or obstacles to daily workflows.
