Insurance Defense Attorney

Zurich North America is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team!Represent Zurich's insureds in all phases of litigation for matters of moderate technical complexity.Achieve best outcomes for clients by demonstrating technical excellence in case handling.Ensure customer service to clients by proactively communicating case information, responding to inquiries and following customer protocols. Document case files by updating relevant information in compliance with best practices.Work towards timely resolution of matters by collaborating with the claims adjuster, developing a case strategy and escalating issues as appropriate.Basic Qualifications:Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in the Litigation areaMember of the Bar in good standing in jurisdiction(s) in which practice is located.Experience with Microsoft Office and AdobeExperience working with Lexis or WestlawKnowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance defense litigation legal environmentKnowledge of the law and procedurePreferred Qualifications:Effective communication skillsEffective negotiation skillsExperience working in a team-based environmentCollaboration skillsEffective problem solving and analytical skillsCompensation:
