In this role, you will independently provide holistic, evidence-based care in a retail clinic environment, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals. You will deliver patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling to patients aged 18 months and older. Care is documented in an electronic health record (EHR), and you will report directly to the Senior Practice Manager.Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients.Health Counseling: Educate patients on maintaining proper health and improving health outcomes.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR).Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals as part of a Patient-Centered Practice Team.Customer Service Excellence: Enhance patient engagement and satisfaction through communication and feedback integration.Healthcare Environment Management: Resolve conflicts, manage patient care, and adapt to new models of patient care to improve clinic efficiency.Operational Support: Assist with hiring and developing practice employees and support clinic operations to optimize care quality and cost-efficiency.Insurance and Care Planning: Validate insurance coverage and integrate knowledge into patient care plans.
Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
Required:
Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.Current National Board Certification and active state licensure to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN).Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.Application for DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration required upon offer.Valid BLS/CPR certification.Ability to work every other weekend as part of the clinic hours.
Preferred:
Prior experience working in a retail clinic or similar healthcare environment is a plus.
Nurse Practitioner Work Schedule:
Days: Monday to FridayHours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PMWeekend Rotation: Requires work every other weekend.
Nurse Practitioner Compensation:
Pay Rate: $74.87 per hour
